Traffic Cops are Worthless Parasites

April 29, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Speeding should not be deemed a crime. The speed limit should be a recommendation; not a legal limit. If I get into an accident, and it’s my fault, then that’s a crime. But driving over the speed limit should not be considered a crime.

The speed limit as law is a major source of income for the government. One wonders how many millions of dollars in revenues are collected by this government’s oppressive speed laws.  And all people are fined equally. Nobody is given a lower fine in accordance with their lower income. If you are poor, you pay just as much for a speed ticket as if you’re rich.

Furthermore, it makes no sense that if there is an open road, and there are no cars in front of you, that you should be fined for going 80, 90, or even 100 miles per hour. Who doesn’t go over the obscene 65 speed limit? And who would tolerate a society in which we are forced to go these obscene speed limits? Not I.

This is why I say that traffic cops are worthless parasites. To hell with them. And to hell with the mindless drones of society that continue to allow these parasites to feed off of us by ticketing us for going faster than the boneheaded speed limits that are rigged to be too small.

A Secessionist Bookshelf: A Modest Beginning

April 28, 2009 · 4 Comments

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”

~ Mohandas K. Gandhi

All the mainstream news outlets are laughing at the secession sentiment across the nation, so brace yourself. There are over eight state sovereignty resolutions floating about under the rubric of the Ninth and Tenth Amendments in addition to nearly twenty pending resolutions in other states. The DC embrace of Obamunism is frightening plenty of folks to include state legislators and drivingMontana to kick the ATF out of the state in a landmark move to completely ignore the unconstitutional and hoplophobic notions of our rulers in Mordor on the Potomac when it comes to the keeping and bearing of weapons.

Secession has been broached in polite conversation by the Governor of Texas, no less. It is not as if the notion is new since the unfortunate victory of Union/Yankee forces in 1865. New England threatened it decades before Lincoln’s War and the Great Depression spawned a variety of secessionist discontents.

We don’t have to be embarrassed by the notion of secession. We are a nation birthed in divorce from a tyrannical Crown and the Second American Revolution popularly known as the Civil War. Lincoln’s Jacobins won that fight but we don’t have to suffer that forever nor yield them a high ground of virtue.

“The Truth” by Michael D’Antuono

On his 100th day in office, President Obama will be “crowned” in messianic imagery at New York City’s Union Square.

Artist Michael D’Antuono’s painting “The Truth” – featuring Obama with his arms outstretched and wearing a crown of thorns upon his head – will be unveiled on April 29 at the Square’s South Plaza.

September Clues

April 26, 2009 · 2 Comments

I heard Alex Jones disrespect no-planers recently on his radio show. Specifically, he disrespected September Clues. My feeling is not that he’s working for the enemy. Rather, my feeling is that it’s an issue of pride, and the fact that he already came out on record saying that planes crashed into the towers, and made the further speculation that the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania was intended for the White House. (Better yet, it was intended for Building 7.)

This is the no-planer manifesto September Clues. Unlike Alex Jones, I am a no-planer, and, as you can see for yourself, it’s excellent, providing solid proofs of video forgery. It’s not all-inclusive, but it’s more than you need to know regarding the use of missiles (not planes) on 9/11.

Maryland, My Maryland

April 23, 2009 · Leave a Comment

“Maryland, My Maryland” was adopted as the State song in 1939 (Chapter 451, Acts of 1939; Code State Government Article, sec. 13-307).The nine-stanza poem, “Maryland, My Maryland,” was written by James Ryder Randall in April 1861. A native of Maryland, Randall was teaching in Louisiana in the early days of the Civil War, and he was outraged at the news of Union troops being marched through Baltimore. The poem articulated Randall’s Confederate sympathies. Set to the traditional tune of “Lauriger Horatius” (“O, Tannenbaum”), the song achieved wide popularity in Maryland and throughout the South.

Lyrics

I

The despot’s heel is on thy shore,
Maryland!*
His torch is at thy temple door,
Maryland!
Avenge the patriotic gore
That flecked the streets of Baltimore,
And be the battle queen of yore,
Maryland! My Maryland!

II

Hark to an exiled son’s appeal,
Maryland!
My mother State! to thee I kneel,
Maryland!
For life and death, for woe and weal,
Thy peerless chivalry reveal,
And gird they beauteous limbs with steel,
Maryland! My Maryland!

III

Thou wilt not cower in the dust,
Maryland!
Thy beaming sword shall never rust,
Maryland!
Remember Carroll’s sacred trust,
Remember Howard’s warlike thrust,-
And all thy slumberers with the just,
Maryland! My Maryland!

IV

Come! ’tis the red dawn of the day,
Maryland!
Come with thy panoplied array,
Maryland!
With Ringgold’s spirit for the fray,
With Watson’s blood at Monterey,
With fearless Lowe and dashing May,
Maryland! My Maryland!

V

Come! for thy shield is bright and strong,
Maryland!
Come! for thy dalliance does thee wrong,
Maryland!
Come to thine own anointed throng,
Stalking with Liberty along,
And chaunt thy dauntless slogan song,
Maryland! My Maryland!

VI

Dear Mother! burst the tyrant’s chain,
Maryland!
Virginia should not call in vain,
Maryland!
She meets her sisters on the plain-
Sic semper!” ’tis the proud refrain
That baffles minions back amain,
Arise in majesty again,
Maryland! My Maryland!

VII

I see the blush upon thy cheek,
Maryland!
For thou wast ever bravely meek,
Maryland!
But lo! there surges forth a shriek,
From hill to hill, from creek to creek-
Potomac calls to Chesapeake,
Maryland! My Maryland!

VIII

Thou wilt not yield the Vandal toll,
Maryland!
Thou wilt not crook to his control,
Maryland!
Better the fire upon thee roll, Better the blade, the shot, the bowl,
Than crucifixion of the soul,
Maryland! My Maryland!

IX

I hear the distant thunder-hum,
Maryland!
The Old Line’s bugle, fife, and drum,
Maryland!
She is not dead, nor deaf, nor dumb-
Huzza! she spurns the Northern scum!
She breathes! she burns! she’ll come! she’ll come!
Maryland! My Maryland!

Miss California Answers Well, Gets Rebuked

April 20, 2009 · Leave a Comment

This is what happens when you don’t tow the line of the homosexual Left. You lose the crown, and the media (namely, the leftist outfit Yahoo!) say that you “fumbled over the question.” And this is from Miss California, thereby proving my point that just because you’re from California, that doesn’t make you a Left Wing Nut.

Gov. Perry Backs Resolution Affirming Texas’ Sovereignty Under 10th Amendment

April 14, 2009 · Leave a Comment

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry today joined state Rep. Brandon Creighton and sponsors of House Concurrent Resolution (HCR) 50 in support of states’ rights under the 10th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

“I believe that our federal government has become oppressive in its size, its intrusion into the lives of our citizens, and its interference with the affairs of our state,” Gov. Perry said. “That is why I am here today to express my unwavering support for efforts all across our country to reaffirm the states’ rights affirmed by the Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. I believe that returning to the letter and spirit of the U.S. Constitution and its essential 10th Amendment will free our state from undue regulations, and ultimately strengthen our Union.”

Don’t Take on Tasks that are Too Great for You

April 7, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Who likes to take on tasks that are too great for them? People who try to defraud others into thinking that they are greater than they really are. But fraud is bad. Deal honestly with people, and you will be humble. Humility derives from honesty. Arrogance derives from dishonesty. Self-praise or self-promotion is not arrogance. Rather, dishonest exaggeration of one’s own merits is arrogance. And though it may fool some of the people some of the time, it will not fool all of the people all of the time, as the expression goes.

Obongo the Muslim Socialist Fascist

April 6, 2009 · 5 Comments

This goes beyond the idiot’s other gaffes, such as giving the queen an iPod or the English Prime Minister a set of DVD’s, or addressing the English Prime Minister and other dignitaries by their first names. This time the buffoon expresses more than his stupidity and arrogance. He shows his true colors. The following is from the blog Hot Air, which I typically don’t read because of its neoconservative undertones. But the author of the blog entry put together a nice comparison between Obongo’s conduct with the queen of England and his conduct with the Saudi King.

Obamateurism of the Day posted at 8:05 am on April 3, 2009 by Ed Morrissey Send to a Friend | Share on Facebook | printer-friendly We covered this yesterday when it happened, but in my estimation, the worst amateur moment thus far in the Obama presidency came when the President of the United States executed a bow to a monarch so deep that he literally had to take a step back to balance himself. Not just any monarch, either, but one of the most repressive among those nations friendly to the US. Interestingly, this came just after Barack Obama met with another monarch, and the contrast between Barack Obama’s show of respect is striking. I put together this video to demonstrate it:

Questions for Joseph Atwill

April 1, 2009 · Leave a Comment

Joseph Atwill is the author of the book Caesar’s Messiah, arguing the hypothesis that Christianity was an invention of Rome. Ever-persistent in my pursuit of truth, though I adopted this hypothesis shortly after reading this book, I discarded it for another hypothesis of my own. The following questions were submitted to Mr. Atwill through a website. Hopefully, answers to these questions will be forthcoming.

Hello, Mr. Atwill. Congratulations on the completion of a masterful historical world Caesar’s Messiah. I have a question about your thesis. You don’t say much about Paul and his role in the development of Christianity. This omission is striking…. Do you not think that Paul was central in the creation or propagation of this religion? And what would you say about the Armenian Orthodox Christians who seem to have known about Christianity since before Rome took it over? Second, how realistic is your thesis that Christianity was created to woo the Jews to Christianity when the Jews would obviously had seen what was going on, and what wasn’t going on? That is, the Jews would have seen that the Romans produced this book that was the beginnings of the New Testament, and the Jews would not have believed the content of that book because they would not have seen Jesus perform his miracles. Similarly, if you write a book saying that a leprechaun came to my town and performed works and wonders, when the leprechaun did not even exist, let alone perform those works and wonders, then how do you expect to convince me of this, and convert me to your leprechaun-based faith? It doesn’t sound pragmatic or realistic in the least. Third, what would you say about the Roman persecution of the Christians? If Rome founded Christianity, then why would they have persecuted people who believe in it? Forth, what would you say about the possibility that the comments by Josephus mentioning Jesus were altogether forged by the Church ex post facto, and [were not even] written by him? Fifth, what would you say about the Talmud and its references to what are considered to be Yeshu (Jesus)? Sixth, in light of the questions that can be raised about your thesis, such as those mentioned above, have you not [seen] fit to alter your thesis on the origin of Christianity in any way since your book CM was published?

Sincerely, Patrick

DIXIE

Southrons, hear your country call you,
Up, lest worse than death befall you!
To arms! To arms! To arms, in Dixie!
Lo! all the beacon-fires are lighted,–
Let all hearts be now united!
To arms! To arms! To arms, in Dixie!

Advance the flag of Dixie!
Hurrah! Hurrah!
For Dixie’s land we take our stand,
And live or die for Dixie!
To arms! To arms!
And conquer peace for Dixie!
To arms! To arms!
And conquer peace for Dixie!

Oh Hear the Northern thunders mutter!
Northern flags in South winds flutter!
To arms! To arms! To arms, in Dixie!
Send them back your fierce defiance!
Stamp upon the cursed alliance!
To arms! To arms! To arms, in Dixie!

Chorus

Fear no danger! Shun no labor!
Lift up rifle, pike, and sabre!
To arms! To arms! To arms, in Dixie!
Shoulder pressing close to shoulder,
Let the odds make each heart bolder!
To arms! To arms! To arms, in Dixie!

Chorus

Then I wish I was in Dixie

Hurrah, Hurrah

In Dixie Land we take our stand to live and die for Dixie

Oh way, oh way, oh way down south… in Dixie!
